Product scene matchComing soon

Found the look you want? Put your product in it.

Pick a reference photo from a past shoot, a mood board or your own styling test, and recreate its setting around your product without copying the product that was in it.

How it works

Product scene match in TrendRemix uses two images from your asset library: your product photo and a scene photo whose look you want. The scene's surface, backdrop, props, lighting, color palette and camera angle are recreated around your exact product, while any product that appears in the scene photo is left out. You can add notes of up to 1,000 characters, such as keeping warm light or leaving space on one side for text, and choose 1K, 2K or 4K resolution. The result is a newly generated image, saved as a separate file next to your original.

From input to finished result.

01

Add the product and the scene

Open Match a scene in the product workspace, add your product photo, then choose the scene image from your asset library or upload it there.

02

Steer it with notes

Write what matters most about the reference and anything that should differ, pick a resolution, and check the credit cost on the create button before you submit.

03

Compare in both directions

Check the product against your original and the setting against the reference. To keep a collection consistent, reuse the same scene image for the next product.

What you can do

Setting, not subject

Surface, backdrop, props, light, colors and camera angle come from the reference; any product shown in it is deliberately left out.

Notes for finer control

Up to 1,000 characters to say what must survive from the reference and what should be different.

Reusable looks

Keep a few reference photos in your library and apply the same one product by product to build a series that feels like one shoot.

Linked to your product facts

With a saved product selected, its name, category and selling points accompany the request.

Before you download

  • Make sure nothing from the product in the reference photo, such as a logo, a label or a shape, has carried over to yours.
  • Compare your product's proportions with the original; matching a camera angle can stretch or tilt the view.
  • Check the scale of your product against the props taken from the reference.
  • Confirm you have the right to use the reference photo for commercial images.

Questions and answers

Will it copy the product in my reference photo?

No. The request asks for the setting only and tells the generator not to reproduce any product from the scene image. Still check that nothing like a logo or a label has leaked into the result.

What kind of reference works well?

A photo with a clear surface, a readable light direction and a camera angle close to how your product should be seen. Busy scenes with many objects can be harder to recreate faithfully.

Can I use someone else's photo as the reference?

Use photos you shot, commissioned or are licensed to use. The reference has to be in your own asset library, and you are responsible for having the rights to the images you upload.

Can I choose the format?

Scene matching has a resolution setting but no format setting. If you need a specific format, use the AI background generator, which offers six, or crop the result in a layout.

Can I match many products at once?

In the workspace each task takes one product photo. Run them one after another with the same reference to build a matching set.
